WHAT A TRIP! After 8 hours of driving, my husband and I finally got to see this worldwide Prada installation in the middle of the desert. I mean, what a surreal experience!
The installation is called “Prada Marfa” and it’s a replica of a Prada store that was designed by Elmgreen & Dragset. It was built in 2005 and has been attracting visitors from all over the world ever since. The store is stocked with real Prada products, but they are something you can see can’t touch 🙂
In general, black is definitely my go-to color for an outfit. Coming into the desert, I decided to change the scene a little bit. This beige outfit set from Revolve was exactly what I needed. Beige is definitely a good alternative to black and perfect for the hot Texas heat while still maintaining some style.
For shoes, I wanted to keep it super simple, so I picked my go-to Prada Monolith Derby shoes.
The outfit was perfect to blend in with the desert and Prada shoes were a nice touch, don’t you think?! 😉
